We are a family restaurant in the Farró district of Barcelona, founded in December 2020 by the López Monné brothers. Moved by the family cuisine since we were children, we decided to undertake and recover the spirit of the restaurant that our uncle Enric Monné founded in Barcelona in the 70s.
Àlex it’s our chef, a law graduate and passionate about gastronomy, which led him to study catering at the Hofmann School and later work in restaurants such as La Camarga and 18 d’Octubre. He recovers the essence of his uncle’s restaurant and from here l’Emocionar is born.
On the other hand, we have Sergi, a graduate in tourism, who is the director and manager. After a long career working in different hotels and motivated by good food, he takes on the challenge of being his own boss as a small businessman.
In addition, he is in charge of the dining room, and who will accompany and advise you on the menu and the wine cellar throughout the service.
